Shimmer Tattoo Nail Art

I got these Shimmer Jewelry Tattoos from FYI PR. I can't really wear them out right now as I'm totally covered up. So I got the idea to create cool nail art out of them. This was my first time trying this so bear with me lol. I found this process pretty easy and quick. It's a great way to get nail art without have to draw it on yourself. Stay tuned into my Instagram for when I try this again.

What You Will Need:

  • Selected Nail Color. I suggest color that will allow the silver or gold pop.
  • Top Coat (not shown)
  • Nail Polish Remover
  • Brush
  • Cotton Balls
  • Shimmer Tattoos
  • Water (not shown)

1. Paint Nails Desired Color. Let Dry Overnight.

2. Clean Up Any Mistakes with Nail Polish Remover.

3. Cut Out Desired Shapes for Nail Art.

4. Put Nail Art on Nail and Apply Wet Cotton Ball to Back. Peel Paper Off.

5. Paint Nails with Top Coat. Let Dry Fully.

Viola!

Camel Coat in the Snow

Coat Thrifted Lauren Ralph Lauren | Sweater H&M | Shirt Vintage | Jeans Rock Revolution | Belt Vintage | Bracelets Urban Outfitters, Vintage | Watch Relic | Earrings Vintage | Necklace Vintage | Socks Stance | Boots Ecote
I woke up to snow and it was beautiful. As a woman who has NEVER lived where it snows, I've had a "I could never" attitude about it. Mainly just hearing the horror stories of walking or driving in the snow. Moving to the east coast in the winter, clearly I wasn't going to escape the snow. This was my first time I've been excited to be in the snow. Living here I realized it's really not that bad. Needless to say it was pretty cold outside today. I made sure to layer up with my camel coat my mom sent me, my H&M sweater and long sleeve denim shirt. I opted for my suede booties and some printed socks to add an extra element to my outfit. And as usual I accessorized with layers of gold jewelry.

But in this glimpse you will see me styling the model and interacting with the photographer, Shamayim. This video was shot by Jean Paul Dia. Mixing Prints and Portraits

Blazer Grace Elements | Top Thrifted | Necklace H&M

Earlier this week I worked on a beauty shoot with a new crew here in NY. While waiting for the model to get hair and make-up I got to step in and get a few portraits done. I love how they came out and can't wait to start using them for various projects. What do you think? Which one is your favorite?

Bright Winter Coat

Coat Thrifted Vintage | Dress Vintage | Long Sleeve Shirt Forever 21 | Tights Hue | Boots Kelsi Dagger | Necklace Sparklepop

First, let me tell you how much I love this coat. This coat was definitely meant to be. I found this at the Council for Jewish Women Thrift Shop in Los Angeles. I was shopping for a client and this coat caught my eye. I kept telling myself "Focus" and "It's 80 degrees outside, why do you need this coat?" But it seemed like everywhere I went in the store the coat was calling me. So I did the only thing I knew would ease my curiosity, I tried it on. One of two things happens when you try a taunting item on;  either it doesn't fit and you no longer think about the item or it fits and you have to have it. So clearly the latter took place. I tried the coat on and was still trying to convince myself I didn't need the coat, I tried it on again and flipped the collar, it was all over at that point.
So today was a bright coat day. I've been feeling so dark since moving to New York because I'm almost always in some variation of black. Today I'm meeting with a few women looking to interview me for their site so it was a perfect day to break the black cycle. How do you infuse color this winter?
