So my friends were in town and we decided to hit up Santa Monica for a little brunch action. Since we didn't have a plan on where to eat it took a little trial and error to find the perfect spot. We eventually settled at Zengo at Santa Monica Place. They have an all you can eat and drink brunch. One word: DELICIOUS. We ordered EVERYTHING. The empanadas were by far my favorite dish.
As far as my outfit I knew I had to go from church to exploring the beach with ease. This Maxi dress was perfect for the day. The weather wasn't scorching like it had been all week so there was a bit of a breeze by the beach. I threw on my favorite maxi from H&M and decided not to belt it this time and enjoy the movement of the dress. I paired it with my new go to heels from Target added gold accessories and I was ready for my day.
The other day I had to do some pulls for a shoot and really wanted to wear my new shirt that I got from one of my friends at my favorite showroom. So I threw it one with a mini and usually for a more daytime casual look I'll throw on flats or sandals with my minis. Don't want to do too much just running errands. I love this skirt because of the embroidery detailing on the sides.

Earlier this week I was meeting up with friends for lunch and didn't know what to wear. I did know I had 2 items I was dying to wear. I didn't realize until I stood in front of the mirror I could wear them together. I decided to go boldly and mix prints like a pro. Let's talk about this Safi Miran bag and how awesome it is to have leopard and spikes in one bag. I will do a full video review coming up next week.

Last week I went to Fashion For Breakfast at Cecconi's. I met up with my boo Vic Styles and saw friends of mine Wayman and Micah. The breakfast was delicious. I had the french toast and fresh fruit. It was a great time to mix and mingle with others in the fashion and blogging industries. The special guest was Allison McNamara, TV host, writer and producer at POPSUGAR.
