NYFW Day 7

Blazer Gypsy Junkies | Bodysuit American Apparel | Shorts Levi's | Heels Cathy Jean | Bag Nila Anthony | Necklaces Dogeared, SusiD and Vintage | Bangles H&M  and Urban Outfitters | Rings H&M and Various Finds

Today was the day, I finally went into the tents lol. I saw Falguni and Shane Peacock, the best show I saw all week. The collection was breathtaking, the details impeccable and the models gorgeous. As soon as the first dress came on the runway my eyes light up and my brain started going a thousand miles per minute. Needless to say I loved the collection and need it for editorials in the very near future.
Next up was another 360 style fashion show presented by Redlight PR. They had 3 collections in the show. My favorite Jaime Elyse, as soon as the first gown stepped on the runway I saw myself as the bride. The veiled headpieces were to die for. I've always wanted a caged veil but this had me rethink that whole situation.
Late we caught the BruceGlen and India Vasquez shows. BruceGlen treated us to a Indian Circus themed presentation, including cotton candy, popcorn and cupcakes. The Collection was bright and sleek with shoes in collaboration with Nina Shoes. India Vasquez had to be one of the sweetest and most genuine designer I met. her collection was full of prints and designs for every type of woman or man. Her models ranged in size, height and abilities. I love her enthusiasm and  wish her the best of luck.

Dress Vintage | Sweater H&M | Heels Cathy Jean | Bag Nila Anthony | Necklace Zara | Ring H&M

Day 5 we started off the day at the Style 360 fashion show featuring Isabella Rose Taylor. She is a 13 year old fashion designer and her collection was young, fresh and on trend. Our next 2 shows were evening shows, Adolfo Sanchez and Lorraine Claire. Adolfo Sanchez was Planned by his PR showroom Creativ PR and featured 2 other designers from the showroom.

In between shows we headed to Lincoln center for OOTD pics and to grab some lunch. While there we ran into Joy Adaze, head of CurlSistas.com. It was a bit overcast so I wanted to warm up with some chowder from Ed's Chowder House across from Lincoln Center. The food was delicious and I will def be going back.

NYFW Day 4

Dress Vintage | Sweater Vintage | Heels Cathy Jean | Necklaces Vintage | Bag Stone | Earrings Gotroxx | Bangles H&M and Urban Outfitters
Pictures: Brooklyn Bridge | Essence Street Style | Lincoln Center | Vandell and I at Mochachino
Day 4 started off like most Sundays for me, church. After church I headed to the Storefront x RePop Room "Fashion That Pops" Champagne Brunch. I was starving so i decided to grab a few bites before mingling with the designers. The first designer I run into, Marrin Costello. First of all I can't believe I saw her all the way in New York. It was a pleasant surprise, we chatted a bit and snagged a photo op. BTW isn't her hair fab? Her new designs blew me away I can't wait for the highlights post to show you some of my favorite pieces. There were 2 more fashion designers there, so I networked and I was on my way.
Next stop was the Essence Street Style Block Party in Dumbo. There was live music, Shea Moisture Stations, jewelry and clothing vendors, food trucks and a step and repeat. What more could a girl ask for? The block party was a great time, tons of people and of course the naturalistas were out in full force. After the block party we went over to the Brooklyn Bridge for an impromptu photo shoot lol.
Up next we headed to the Long Tran show. His women's collection was full of white avant garde dresses with tons of detail included one that lit up. The men's wear were printed suits with matching shoes. The collection boasted over exaggerated features such as shoulders or hips. These designs were to die for and I can't wait for next season's show.
Our second show was Mochachino. This show was full of printed swimwear, caftans and ready to wear for men and women. This show boasted a full of surprises in the audience. I ran into an old college friend and a fellow rattler at the show. Can't wait to reconnect with these two lovely people later this week.
Our night ended in the Meatpacking District on the highline. As we were headed over there I ran into Shameless Maya filming her next video, a lookbook and the dress she was wearing was nothing less than fab. Check out the picture on my Instagram.

NYFW Day 3

Outfit Details: Dress DEPT | Heels Cathy Jean | Bag Vintage | Earrings Vintage | Bracelets Vintage | Rings Boutique Find & H&M

Photos: Lincoln Center (1-3) | Rewardstyle Rooftop Party (4&5)

Day 3 of NYFW was a bit hectic. It started with an O Magazine charity event in the Bronx. Afterwards we headed to Lincoln Center for street style photos. While there I hit up the Zappos recharge station where I got a purple lip, my new favorite, added a few accessories and hit their runway. While I waited I was able to charge my phone and my camera at their free charging station as well as recharge myself with juice provided by .

Next it was time to grab lunch and head to the Meat Packing District to hang out with Barbie and CFDA at their recharging lounge. This Barbie themed lounge was a perfect pick me up for the late afternoon with design your own Barbie dress stations, an assortment of juices and tons of lounging space.

Then we headed back towards Lincoln Center for the RewardStyle Roof Top Party at the Empire Hotel. Despite the short bit of rain this was a perfect location to have a few small bites, grab a drink and pick up some free goodies while we were at it. The lounge featured booths by Piperlime, BlueFly and TopShop to name a few. To top it all off there was a photbooth so I was sold.
