Shimmer Tattoo Nail Art
I got these Shimmer Jewelry Tattoos from FYI PR. I can't really wear them out right now as I'm totally covered up. So I got the idea to create cool nail art out of them. This was my first time trying this so bear with me lol. I found this process pretty easy and quick. It's a great way to get nail art without have to draw it on yourself. Stay tuned into my Instagram for when I try this again.
What You Will Need:
- Selected Nail Color. I suggest color that will allow the silver or gold pop.
- Top Coat (not shown)
- Nail Polish Remover
- Brush
- Cotton Balls
- Shimmer Tattoos
- Water (not shown)
1. Paint Nails Desired Color. Let Dry Overnight.
2. Clean Up Any Mistakes with Nail Polish Remover.
3. Cut Out Desired Shapes for Nail Art.
4. Put Nail Art on Nail and Apply Wet Cotton Ball to Back. Peel Paper Off.
5. Paint Nails with Top Coat. Let Dry Fully.
Viola!

Shape wear as Outerwear
Jacket BCBGeneration | Top DIY | Skirt Jewltoned | Heels Zara | Bag Thrifted | Necklace Juicy Couture | Bangles DTLA | Earrings Gift
This outfit started with this skirt which is actually shape wear from a company called Jewltoned. The shape wear comes in a variety of colors just not nude tones. It takes the boring out of shape wear and now I won't be embarrassed if it shows. I was gifted this shape wear at a Blogger's Night Out I hosted a few weeks back. I was able to meet the designer and she told me all about the product. I love a high waist so I chose this skirt. I actually put it on under my skirt the night of the event it matched my dress perfectly.
When I put the skirt on today I felt a bit "Pretty Womanish." Channeling Julia Roberts usually is a great idea but I didn't want to look like a hooker all day lol. So I threw on this pastel moto jacket to take the look a bit more rocker chic. Silver accessories and my new vintage clutch and I was ready to go. This skirt will definitely be worn as shape wear and as a skirt.

DIY: Spring/Summer Crop Top
You guys asked for it on my Instagram, so here it is. Below is the tutorial for the crop top I was wearing in Spring Crop. Show my how you rock this DIY on Instagram with the hashtag #swankstylista.
Crop Top DIY | Skirt Thrifted Dress | Heels Fioni | Bag Vintage | Earrings Ritch Bich | Rings H&M

DIY Steps:
- Cut sleeves off to make long arm holes
- Cut back of shirt in half, straight down the middle, from hem to neckline
- Measure desired length and cut
- Make two half-moon shape cuts from the neck to the end of the top, horizontally and be sure not to cut off the collar (Be sure to leave at least 1 inch straps)
- Once on, tie at the collar and at the bottom to secure the crop top in place
- Style as desired
