I knew I wanted to pair mine with my Zara fur jacket. I wanted to keep my outfit pretty neutral and keep the focus on my scarf and clearly the jacket. I kept with the simplicity with barely any jewelry and added my Swell Vision, Sand Dollar watch. I was given the opportunity to receive a scarf from Echo Design's new capsule collection which portrays the artwork of American artist Hunt Slonem. Slonem's iconic bunnies and butterflies displayed on their scarves and bags. You can view the entire collection HERE. I can't wait to rock this scarf this spring and summer and pair it with some brighter pieces.

Today marks the start of one of the best weeks in the year, New York Fashion Week. I went to the Tadashi Shoji show at Lincoln Center and the Big Park show near central park. Today I opted for a more minimal monochromatic look. I found this cocoon coat at +Urban Outfitters for only $20. I can't wait to transition it to spring. I went for al black underneath for a more chic look. I layered for the gods since this coat isn't the thickest. I went for a simple LBD that has the longest sleeves ever which is the best since I have a really long arms and its a really warm sweater material. I went to two events, pics will be posted soon.

Light layers were in full effect while I'm in DC. It's refreshing not to have to wear 5 layers out of the house lol. I have to stay so bundled in NY and i'm getting a bit spoiled in DC and don't want to leave. Today I paired my oversized beige and black sweater with my black open cardigan. I got the beige sweater at the H&M after Christmas sale, BOGO and ir is a medium. I've noticed a lot of my winter clothes are oversized lol. Paired it with one of my best investments of the season, this open cardigan and an infinity scarf I was gifted by Media Playground PR. This scarf is also an everyday in New York. I brought minimal jewelry with me to DC so I layered up my arms with my watch and various bracelets. What's your favorite staple item this season?

Who doesn't love sequins pants? As soon as I saw these Mathiasen pants I was instantly obsessed. To make them more daytime appropriate I paired it with this Azul by Moussy denim shirt. The super casual vibe of the shirt brings the pants down a notch and makes them daytime appropriate. I added this Zara statement necklace for a punch of color. I love this color palette and how the outfit has it's different levels. This outfit out go from day to night by easily changing the top or adding a cool blazer or jacket.
