If you have followed my blog you may know I'm big on Thrift and Vintage finds. I'm starting a new series called Fab Find where I go to Vintage and Thrift shops and get an entire outfit. Stay tuned for some funny videos, great clothes and amazing deals. Today's video I find myself in one of my favorite Goodwill's, I challenge myself to find an outfit for less than $50. Watch to see what I came up with.

DIY: Spring/Summer Crop Top

You guys asked for it on my Instagram, so here it is. Below is the tutorial for the crop top I was wearing in Spring Crop. Show my how you rock this DIY on Instagram with the hashtag #swankstylista.

DIY Steps:

1. Cut sleeves off to make long arm holes
2. Cut back of shirt in half, straight down the middle, from hem to neckline
3. Measure desired length and cut
4. Make two half-moon shape cuts from the neck to the end of the top, horizontally and be sure not to cut off the collar (Be sure to leave at least 1 inch straps)
5. Once on, tie at the collar and at the bottom to secure the crop top in place
6. Style as desired

Style How To: Men's Shirts

I wanted to do a video on 3 ways I style my men's shirts. 2 of the outfits I've worn recently, but in the video below I explain how I choose the main pieces to go with each shirt. 

When choosing a men's shirt:

Determine how you want to wear it before you buy. i.e oversized shrirt, dress, or ourterwear.

Try on different sizes. Men's shirts come in different sizes, cuts and arm lengths. To wear as a slightly oversized shirt I'm a Medium/ 15 1/2 neck 34 arm. To wear as a dress or outerwear I'm a L-XL depending on the look I'm going for.

Have Fun. One of the best things about men's shirts are the different colors and patterns they come in. Check you local vintage and thrift stores for one of a kind pieces. While you're at it raid your dad, brother or boyfriend's closets :)
