Simply Stylist & Bumble Bee

This past Saturday I attended the Simply Stylist event at the Grove thanks to Shon of PopEyeliner. Shon and I went to FAMU together and the other week she asked me if I wanted to go with her to Simply Stylist and I said yes. As I was greeting Shon and her friend Carmen, also a fellow Ratter, Vic of Vic Styles walked up. Our party grew and we had a blast checking out all of the vendors and break out sessions. 

Stopped by the Blushington table and got a cat eyeliner and a berry lip to compliment my look. Loved this Blushington babe's purple hair. I heading back to her and the Blushington salon for my b-day makeup for sure. Where else can you get your face beat for $40?

Thanks to the ladies at Now and Zen PR for gifting me my new white skinny jeans. Look out for them in an OOTD post soon.

I always feel a bit like a bee when I wear black and yellow, now add the stripes... buzz buzz. Wanted to be stylish and comfortable since it was so hot Saturday. Showing off my legs is a must for the spring and summer especially after all this walking I've been doing lately. I've had this +Forever 21 skirt for forever and paired it with this top from H&M I cut into a crop top. Today I'm pulling from showrooms for a shoot tomorrow. Can't wait to share the final product with you all. That being said I need to be comfortable and chic when I head to meet with showrooms and designers. Today is supposed to be quite warm so I took my men's striped shirt and paired it with my sheer floral blazer. The blazer adds an extra texture with out added too much warmth which is perfect for today. I kept the rest of my outfit simple with touches of black and gold.

Feeling Feminine

It's New Year's Eve!!!! Tonight I'll be bringing in the New Year at church. I was feeling like dressing a bit more feminine today so I started my outfit off with my beige sheer skirt. I went through several top options before deciding to go with this Forever 21 dress. I added my H&M blazer and Viola! lol I wanted to wear this Nila Anthony Bag so I kept my jewelry in a gold tone to compliment the hardware on the bag.
