It's starting to look a lot like summertime here in the city, so I decided to head over near Central Park. I wanted to finally get to wear my leather thrifted shorts in the warm weather. As my top I'm actually wearing a short jumper, that's a bit too short now. Threw on my favorite jacket and was ready to hit the streets. I kept my accessories minimal as I wanted my shorts and top to be the focal. Needless to say I was comfortable, chic and enjoyed my day.

What do you get when you pair a $1 shirt with a $30 jacket? This outfit lol. I got this shirt at the $1 Sunday sale at JetRag in Los Angeles and I wear it all the time. I'm still looking for the great thrift stores of NYC. If you know any please let me know!!! Anyways I got this jacket a few weeks back on sale for only $30 from +Topshop. I left my previous faux leather jacket at a hotel while on a business trip last year smh, so this was the perfect replacement. Better late than never, right?
I decided to take my outfit up a notch with this necklace I bought from a shop in DTLa a while ago. I wanted to have my shirt unbottoned but felt a bit too exposed so I added a statement necklace. I really wanted that to be my pop or moment so I kept my other accessories simple.
How do you add a pop to an otherwise simple outfit?
The other day I had to do some pulls for a shoot and really wanted to wear my new shirt that I got from one of my friends at my favorite showroom. So I threw it one with a mini and usually for a more daytime casual look I'll throw on flats or sandals with my minis. Don't want to do too much just running errands. I love this skirt because of the embroidery detailing on the sides.

The other day I met up with Vic from Vic Styles to discuss an amazing event we are planning and to have some girl talk. I thought it would be a perfect day to pull out my Karl tee and Dittos jeans. I kept my palette very clean with all white and my black blazer as a contrast to the monochromatic feel. I kept my accessories and shoes simple in silver and pewter tones.
I love these Dittosjeans. They were gifted to me at the Simply Stylist Event. Their 70s inspired jeans match perfectly with Loretta lol. But seriously they are super comfortable and fit perfectly. These will definitely be making a lot of appearances this summer. Thanks again Now & Zen Group for my new favorite jeans.
