Photos: Lincoln Center (1-3) | Rewardstyle Rooftop Party (4&5)

Day 3 of NYFW was a bit hectic. It started with an O Magazine charity event in the Bronx. Afterwards we headed to Lincoln Center for street style photos. While there I hit up the Zappos recharge station where I got a purple lip, my new favorite, added a few accessories and hit their runway. While I waited I was able to charge my phone and my camera at their free charging station as well as recharge myself with juice provided by .

Next it was time to grab lunch and head to the Meat Packing District to hang out with Barbie and CFDA at their recharging lounge. This Barbie themed lounge was a perfect pick me up for the late afternoon with design your own Barbie dress stations, an assortment of juices and tons of lounging space.

Then we headed back towards Lincoln Center for the RewardStyle Roof Top Party at the Empire Hotel. Despite the short bit of rain this was a perfect location to have a few small bites, grab a drink and pick up some free goodies while we were at it. The lounge featured booths by Piperlime, BlueFly and TopShop to name a few. To top it all off there was a photbooth so I was sold.

Pictures: Lincoln Center | Cool Stairs I Found | Marc Jacobs Metallic Mile Hole | Refinery 29 Country Club

So Day 2 of NYFW got off to a late start with internet issues and outfit changes lol. As each day must start I headed to Lincoln Center. I've been taking Street Style photos for Obvious Magazine for this season's shows. BTW I'm a fashion editor for Obvious Magazine. So Vandell and I went to do our daily duty and take ootd pictures of course. After we headed to grab a bit of lunch then it was off to our first event, Refinery 29 Country Club. Refinery 29 set up a mini golf course and refreshment station out in soho. I was all about this event. Each hole was inspired by a fashion designer. I took a photo at one of my favorite holes, Mettalic Mile inspired by Marc Jacobs. I won but I was no easy task, these holes were no joke. All in all it was a great time; fun game of golf, tea and music to refresh us from the morning.

NYFW Day 1

I had a great first day of New York Fashion Week. Started off at Lincoln Center headed to our first show from there. As we were walking to the train we saw an Elle magazine event going on. We planned in popping in and out. Well I got caught up in makeup "touch ups" and the photobooth. Lord knows I love a photo booth lol. Anywho they were also doing hair touch ups, serve ring refreshments and refreshing everyone's outfits with the Swash System. P&G and Whirlpool are behind the Swash System that dewrinkles, restores, preserves and refreshes your clothes. Let's just saw I want one of these systems in my house.

Next it was time to hit some shows. First up Thaddeus O'Neil, a beachy menswear collection featuring ikat prints and relaxed fits. Next was Big Park, my new favorite, the collection featured neoprene florals with mesh accents. The rooftop setting was a perfect way to showcase this modern collection. Next up the Yael and Revlon show. The show featured lovely fur coats and hair brought to you by Revlon. Mikel Luzea did a complete weave on stage full of big curls and my next hair color.

Day 1 was a great start to New York Fashion Week stay tuned for Day 2.

Backstage at Victor de Souza

One of the models in her finished look | Final makeup look | Dustin Lujan putting the final touches on a model | McKenzie Liautaud Limited Edition Earrings | Cesar Ramirez and his final touches | Details on the finale dress

Wednesday I had the pleasure of attending the Victor de Souza show and being able to cover backstage as well. Backstage there was a frenzy of big hair and organza. The hair was sponsored by Mizani with Cesar Ramirez at the helm of the team and creator of these fierce blonde fros. Makeup Forever provided the makeup and lead makeup artist Dustin Lujan created a whimsical look with rose gold eyelashes, rosey cheeks and lids. The collection itself was nothing less than fabulous with impeccable detailing. The collection featured my favorite color chartreuse along with red, white and black, the color mixture was perfect and told a beautiful story. Limited edition earrings were provided by Mckenzie Liautaud to finish the look.

A Gloomy Day at Coney Island and Central Park

1Wonder Wheel | 2 Nathan's Famous Hotdogs on the boardwalk | 3 Me near the rides wearing my new favorite thing, the maxi dress lol | 4 Central Park with a peek of the city | 5 Fountain in Central Park and the Lake | 5 Breone and I on our walk through the park

My friend Breone and I went on an adventure this past Saturday. We took the train to Coney Island. It's like a big carnival. The rides looked fun and scary at the same time lol. We ate at the Original Nathan's, since they only have beef hotdogs I had chicken tenders. Let's just say Nathan's fries are the best. After eating we decided to leave as it was getting colder and colder each minute. Originally we were going to explore more of Brooklyn but after speaking to the most animated  and sweetest MTA worker she made us rethink the places to really go see. So we decided on Central Park, it was a bit gloomy as the clouds were rolling in for the rain the next day. Central Park is beautiful we walked like an hour around the park. We saw some street performers, picnicers and people in horse drawn carriages. It's a great place to spend a summer day or have a date :)
